Marble Colors
Description:
Marble offers you an exciting paint finish. With Marble you can achieve the appearance of a deep marble, snake skin, plus many other effects. Marble is applied as a Midcoat that can simply be cleared over or try it with our Candy Paints.
(Note: This is a Water Based Coating)
Marble Colors:
- Aluminium Marble
- Blue Marble
- Gold Marble
- Green Marble
- Purple Marble
- Red Marble
- Silver Marble
Marble Application:
Marble is easy to apply and can even be applied with an airbrush. For best results use a Black Basecoat, but using different colors will give you a real custom effect.
- Always spray test panels before spraying your product or project.
- Start by prepping your project as you would any other paint job. (Sand, Prime, etc.)
- Apply 2-3 coats of Basecoat leaving 10-15 minutes between coats. Wait 1 hour before applying the Marble Effect to ensure Basecoat is fully dry.
- Stir Marble well. Marble is ready to use.
- Apply 1-2 thin WET coats. Immediately use cling wrap, plastic sheeting or your choice of texturing tool to produce the desired effect. Apply cling wrap to the entire part, then rub the cling wrap down with your hand to insure contact with surface. Remove the cling wrap, leaving you with a marble like finish.
- Allow 1-2 hours drying time before applying a Candy or a 2K Clearcoat.
Metal Flake Application: "Dry Flake"
Apply our Metal Flakes over any base color to produce a real custom effect, most customers use a black Basecoat. We recommend adding the Metal Flake to our Flake Carrier but you can add them to a Automotive solvent or water based Clearcoats, Clear basecoats and Resin's. Depending on how heavy you want the flake effect, will depend on how much you will need.
Always spray test panels before spraying you product or project to see the effect you desire.
- Start by prepping your project as you would any other paint job. (Sand, Prime, etc.)
- Apply 2-3 coats of Base coat.
- Add 5g to 100g of Dry Metal Flake to a Clear base coat or lacquer and stir well.
- Apply the 1 - 5 coats of Metal Flake until you get the effect you desire.
- Apply a Clearcoat until the Metal Flake is fully covered.
Metal Flake Fx Application: "Paint"
METAL FLAKE FX is an EASY to apply Metal Flake paint. Metal Flake FX is highly concentrated with our Metal Flake and full coverage can be achieved with in a few coats, which then can be 2K clear coated or be used as a base for our Candy effect paints.
- Always spray test panels before spraying your product or project.
- Start by prepping your project as you would any other paint job. (Sand, Prime, etc.)
- Apply 2-3 coats of Basecoat leaving 10-15 minutes between coats.
- Leave 60 minutes before applying the effect color to ensure basecoat is fully dry.
- Stir paint well before adding Reducer. Mix Metal Flake Fx 2-1 with Reducer & stir well.
- Apply 2-5 coats of Metal Flake Fx depending on the effect you desire. Leave 20-30 minutes between coats. Ensure its fully
- Leave 60 minutes before applying a 2k Clearcoat.
