Translucent Orange Masking Tape

This translucent Orange Masking tape is a must when laying down patterns, The tape’s translucent nature means that it can be used for cutting out when painting custom designs and artwork.

Translucent Orange Masking Tape is a medium tack masking tape for exterior applications. The product consists of an orange rice paper masking tape with a custom formulated water based acrylic adhesive. The products is ideal for masking plastics, trims, rubbers & wheels.

2-in-1 fine line and masking tape. Lays down flat, Flexible, waterproof acrylic adhesive that prevents paint bleeding. Masks plastics, trims, rubber etc. Ideal for masking wheels.

6mm (1/4") and 12mm (1/2") are fantastic for masking small items especially rubbers around helmets visors and neck lines.

    Metal Flake Application: "Dry Flake"

    Apply our  Metal Flakes over any base color to produce a real custom effect, most customers use a black Basecoat. We recommend adding the Metal Flake to our Flake Carrier but you can add them to a Automotive solvent or water based Clearcoats, Clear basecoats and Resin's. Depending on how heavy you want the flake effect, will depend on how much you will need.

    Always spray test panels before spraying you product or project to see the effect you desire.

    • Start by prepping your project as you would any other paint job. (Sand, Prime, etc.)
    • Apply 2-3 coats of Base coat.
    • Add 5g to 100g of Dry Metal Flake to a Clear base coat or lacquer and stir well.
    • Apply the 1 - 5 coats of Metal Flake until you get the effect you desire. 
    • Apply a Clearcoat until the Metal Flake is fully covered.

    Metal Flake Fx Application: "Paint"

    METAL FLAKE FX is an EASY to apply Metal Flake paint. Metal Flake FX is highly concentrated with our Metal Flake and full coverage can be achieved with in a few coats, which then can be 2K clear coated or be used as a base for our Candy effect paints.

    • Always spray test panels before spraying your product or project.
    • Start by prepping your project as you would any other paint job. (Sand, Prime, etc.)
    • Apply 2-3 coats of Basecoat leaving 10-15 minutes between coats.
    • Leave 60 minutes before applying the effect color to ensure basecoat is fully dry.
    • Stir paint well before adding Reducer. Mix Metal Flake Fx 2-1 with Reducer & stir well.
    • Apply 2-5 coats of Metal Flake Fx depending on the effect you desire. Leave 20-30 minutes between coats. Ensure its fully 
    • Leave 60 minutes before applying a 2k Clearcoat.
